Step into a dynamic full-time opportunity serving K-12 students across a supportive district close to Concord, NH. As a School Psychologist, you'll provide critical services throughout the entire school year (FSY), enhancing students' academic, behavioral, and emotional success.
In this important contract role, you will deliver school psychological services throughout the district, supporting a diverse caseload from kindergarten through high school. Your expertise will help identify student needs, promote safe learning environments, and collaborate with educators and families to foster student growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist credential or state certification (NH, or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with K-12 populations
- Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, assessment administration, and report writing
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Familiarity with current special education laws, including IEP development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support appropriate student interventions
- Write concise, thorough assessment reports for teams and families
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and student support meetings
- Lead consultation with teachers, counselors, and families regarding student progress
- Deliver individual and group counseling as needed
- Promote and implement prevention/intervention strategies supporting student well-being
