A school psychologist position is available in Concord, NH, serving local educational institutions. This role focuses on supporting students' mental health, learning, and behavioral needs through assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student learning needs and challenges
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support students’ academic and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
- Travel between schools within the region to deliver services
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and travel between school sites
