This full-time contract opportunity runs from mid-August 2026 through late May 2027 and focuses on serving two middle school campuses with a primary emphasis on evaluations, ARD meetings, and occasional direct counseling. Your expertise as a licensed School Psychologist will help shape a supportive, effective learning experience for students while collaborating closely with educators and families.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid School Psychologist license required
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in school-based psychological assessment, ARD participation, and counseling preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and applicable state and federal education laws
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt to varying caseload demands and campus needs
- Comfortable with a PRN evaluation caseload and delivering minimal, targeted counseling
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to inform student needs
- Participate actively in ARD committee meetings to develop and monitor IEPs
- Offer data-driven recommendations to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide as-needed counseling services and behavioral support interventions
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to address academic and social-emotional concerns
- Collaborate in crisis intervention and student support planning as needed
