School Psychologist in Converse, TX

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
• Bilingual fluency required; able to provide assessments and services in English and a second language
• Previous experience working within school systems strongly preferred
• Ability to conduct psychoeducational evaluations, develop interventions, and support IEP processes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and academic needs
• Assess students using standardized tools and bilingual assessment techniques
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student concerns and best practices
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver crisis intervention, behavior intervention plans, and classroom support as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide culturally responsive input
