This contract role requires a dedicated, certified School Psychologist who is passionate about fostering a safe, supportive learning atmosphere for students across different grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification relevant to the school psychological field
- Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and support individualized student needs
- Proven record of upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and share actionable recommendations with school teams
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies for student success
- Deliver counseling and interventions to support emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being
- Create, implement, and monitor IEPs and 504 plans as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Lead and participate in meetings, staff training, and crisis response as required
- Stay current with best practices and advances in school psychology
