Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain it
  • Prior experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Strong knowledge of special education law, assessment procedures, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations using appropriate assessments and interpret results for students referred for services
  • Participate in the development and review of IEPs with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
  • Consult with teachers and parents to recommend interventions for academic or behavioral challenges
  • Assist with developing strategies to improve school climate and student well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with federal, state, and local regulations for documentation
