An exciting opportunity is available for a collaborative and compassionate professional seeking to make an impact in educational settings. This full-time, contract role runs for the entirety of the 2026-2027 academic year and focuses on supporting school psychologists in providing essential services to students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The primary emphasis is on assessments and interventions for primary and elementary-aged students, helping them overcome challenges and thrive in their learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid state credential/license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans
- Strong grasp of child and adolescent development, particularly in early and elementary education
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in school-based settings
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with a team of school psychologists to assess students’ needs, primarily focusing on primary and elementary grades
- Conduct formal evaluations including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional assessments
- Develop recommendations and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Provide consultation to educators and families to support students’ educational goals
- Document evaluations and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in ongoing professional development to support best practices
The contract position offers a set schedule—Monday through Friday—with a total of 37.5 hours per week during the school year, allowing for work-life balance and consistency.
