School Psychologist | Cordova, Tennessee

Make a meaningful difference supporting students by providing vital psychological services in an educational setting. This contract position, based near Cordova, TN, offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families, providing assessment, consultation, and intervention to foster student success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field)
• Experience conducting psychological assessments and writing comprehensive reports
• Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies
• Experience developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Administer psychoeducational evaluations and interpret data for eligibility and program planning
• Consult with teachers and staff to provide strategies supporting academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help design interventions based on student data
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education and 504 plans
• Provide direct and indirect counseling to students as needed
• Support crisis intervention, behavioral programming, and prevention efforts
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation following all regulations and district policies
