Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for school psychologist licensure
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education procedures
- Strong assessment, intervention, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience in educational settings preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and assist in eligibility determination for special education services
- Formulate data-driven recommendations to support student learning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and positive behavioral interventions
- Provide short-term counseling to address student social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuing education opportunities
