A fantastic new opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students near Corvallis, OR. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work closely with students, educators, and families, providing vital psychological services within a vibrant and inclusive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification for the state of Oregon
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing comprehensive reports
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, especially within multidisciplinary teams
  • Capacity to attend and contribute to IEP meetings as required
  • Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform student psychological and academic assessments to help identify learning needs and developmental challenges
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports following evaluations, and use findings to inform interventions or support plans
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student support strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote students’ well-being and academic growth
  • Provide consultation and possible short-term counseling as needed to address behavioral or emotional concerns
  • Support a positive, inclusive school climate and advocate for students’ varied needs
