Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current School Psychologist license in Oregon is required
- Certification to practice as a school psychologist
- Previous experience working within elementary, middle, and high school environments, ideally with K-12 caseloads
- Strong knowledge of evaluation techniques, assessments, and best practices in psychological services for diverse student populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide recommendations for modifications, accommodations, and services to best meet student needs
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Serve as a valuable resource for prevention and crisis intervention efforts
