You will mainly work onsite in Emporia, KS, with the possibility of assignments in nearby schools—always within a convenient 20-minute drive. You’ll serve a diverse range of students, fostering positive outcomes and collaborating closely with education professionals who value holistic support for every child.

Requirements and Desired Experience:

• Current Kansas School Psychologist license (required)
• Strong foundation in psychological assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention
• Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
• Keen observational, analytical, and communication skills
• Flexible, solution-oriented approach with the ability to travel locally between school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments
• Deliver individual and group counseling to promote student success
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention strategies
• Support crisis intervention and response as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP and 504 meetings
• Advise staff on positive behavioral supports and best practices in mental health
