School Psychologist in Council Grove, KS

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a skilled School Psychologist needed for immediate placement for the remainder of the school year. This on-site contract opportunity offers a rewarding environment where you’ll work Monday through Friday, contributing your expertise to help ensure student growth and well-being. Your caseload will be tailored to your skills and strengths, and discussed directly during a Zoom interview with the school’s leadership.

You’ll become an essential part of a dedicated educational team, helping provide critical psychological and academic support to students in need.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification or eligibility to practice as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in educational settings, supporting students with varied needs
• Skilled in conducting assessments, developing tailored intervention plans, and collaborating with educators and families
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering student success and a supportive school environment
• Availability for full-time, onsite work (35–40 hours weekly)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement intervention strategies for students
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and mental health
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development
