A travel position is available for a School Psychologist to support students in a school setting located in Coventry, RI. This role involves providing psychological services that promote the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state
- Experience working in school settings preferred
