A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential support within an elementary school setting. This contract position covers a full semester, beginning immediately and concluding on June 12, 2026, serving as maternity leave coverage. The role requires dedication to an elementary caseload, contributing to the academic and emotional well-being of students.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Providing direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district policies.

Qualifications and experience preferred:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Location: This position is based in Cranston, Rhode Island, within an elementary school environment.

This full-time role entails a 37.5-hour workweek and does not include VOCO (Vocational Opportunities) responsibilities. The position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and emotional health during the maternity leave period.
