You’ll work closely with an SLP to co-treat a small caseload, contributing your expertise in both group and one-on-one counseling, as well as comprehensive evaluations.
Your role will center on addressing students’ needs through targeted interventions, active participation in team meetings, and fostering a supportive educational environment. Desired Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification (State of RI or eligibility)
- Experience with middle school students preferred
- Skill in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Strong ability to deliver small group and individual counseling
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience or interest in co-treating with Speech-Language Pathologists a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-treat a small middle school caseload in partnership with an SLP
- Provide both group and individual counseling to address student needs
- Conduct detailed evaluations and report findings to parents and team members
- Participate actively in team meetings, supporting the development of student IEPs
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive school culture
