This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist who enjoys collaborative work and individualized interventions. You’ll work closely with an SLP to co-treat a small caseload, contributing your expertise in both group and one-on-one counseling, as well as comprehensive evaluations.

Your role will center on addressing students’ needs through targeted interventions, active participation in team meetings, and fostering a supportive educational environment. Desired Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist certification (State of RI or eligibility)
  • Experience with middle school students preferred
  • Skill in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Strong ability to deliver small group and individual counseling
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience or interest in co-treating with Speech-Language Pathologists a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-treat a small middle school caseload in partnership with an SLP
  • Provide both group and individual counseling to address student needs
  • Conduct detailed evaluations and report findings to parents and team members
  • Participate actively in team meetings, supporting the development of student IEPs
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive school culture
