Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (in accordance with state requirements)
- Prior experience in an elementary school setting encouraged
- Skilled in conducting eligibility and re-evaluations
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to participate in and contribute effectively to risk and threat assessment teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and re-evaluations for student eligibility
- Participate fully in the IEP process, from development to delivery, collaborating with educators, parents, and service providers
- Serve as an essential member of the risk and threat assessment team, providing insights and recommendations as needed
- Offer ongoing consultation and support to teachers, counselors, and broader school teams to foster a positive, inclusive environment
