Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist license or eligibility for certification in Illinois
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience in assessments, counseling, and interventions with school-age children
- Familiarity with IEP processes, Response to Intervention (RTI), and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Collaborate in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and parents regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to support special education eligibility and student progress
- Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school setting
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
