Step into an impactful school-based role supporting students and staff throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract opportunity centers on serving schools in South and West Houston, with each assignment involving approximately five local campuses. As a valued School Psychologist, you will work closely with educational professionals to provide assessments, interventions, and consultation services—advancing student well-being and academic success.

Ideal candidates exhibit strong communication, flexibility, and expertise in creating positive educational environments. Full-time availability and on-site presence are essential. Hybrid opportunities may be available for report writing.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Texas School Psychologist (LSSP) license or credential (documentation required)
  • Previous school-based experience as a School Psychologist
  • Proven reliability and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to provide a redacted report sample upon request
  • Access to dependable transportation for commuting between campuses
  • Willingness to complete required district fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for student-centered planning
  • Participate in intervention teams and support crisis management when needed
  • Develop and monitor intervention plans for academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state policies
