Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas LSSP credential (required)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with current assessment tools and special education processes
Your Role:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and community agencies to support student outcomes
- Provide direct and indirect counseling and mental health services to students
- Assist in implementing positive behavior supports and interventions throughout the school
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
