Exciting opportunities await for dedicated School Psychologists seeking a meaningful role supporting K-12 students in the Dallas area. Available as either a part-time or full-time contract position, this assignment runs throughout the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027. As a valued member of the district’s psychological services team, you’ll provide crucial expertise in student assessments, evaluations, and participation in ARD meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Serve a diverse caseload of K-12th grade students, bringing insight to the assessment and evaluation process
- Participate actively in ARDs, collaborating with educators and families to support student success
- Complete approximately 8-12 student evaluations each month focused on behavioral/emotional needs (no counseling or administration of cognitive/achievement testing required)
- Engage district-wide, with bilingual specialists often supporting multiple campuses or, alternatively, providing early childhood team support
- Conduct most responsibilities in-person, with flexible remote work permitted for report writing and paperwork
Qualifications:
- Valid, current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with assessments, evaluations, and ARD processes in a K-12 environment
- Bilingual proficiency highly desired, especially for consideration on the early childhood team
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to supporting students
