Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Area
Assignment Dates: August 3, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week (7.5 Hours/Day)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual School Psychologist / Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time itinerant position serving multiple campuses within the district. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to students ranging from Early Childhood (ages 3–5) through 12th grade.

Position Details

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • School year assignment: August 3, 2026 – June 4, 2027
  • Itinerant position serving multiple campuses (specific assignments to be determined)
  • Student population: Early Childhood (ages 3–5) through Grade 12
  • Caseload: Approximately 9 evaluations per month
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Conducting psychoeducational evaluations
    • Writing comprehensive evaluation reports
    • Participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
    • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
    • Supporting special education eligibility and intervention planning

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) license or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Texas Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Previous school-based experience
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Credentialing Requirements

Candidates who have not recently completed fingerprinting for another Texas public school district must complete fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Fingerprint processing typically takes up to 7 days, and candidates must receive district clearance before beginning the assignment.
