Your qualifications and experience include:

  • Valid CT Educator Certificate specific to School Psychology.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively serve Spanish-speaking students and families.
  • Comfort working with all grade levels and flexible in adapting to different caseloads as needs arise.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, students, and families.
  • Ability to conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop effective intervention plans tailored to individual students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct psychological services, including evaluation and counseling, to students across grade levels.
  • Conducting assessments to determine students’ needs and recommend appropriate support strategies.
  • Collaborating with school teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Offering consultation and guidance to educators and families on best practices for student development and mental health.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to a positive learning environment for all students.
