Key Qualifications:
- Connecticut School Psychologist certification required (pending CT certification considered for strong applicants)
- Experience conducting regular psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting
- Familiarity with MTSS/RTI and special education eligibility processes
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual candidates encouraged; a higher rate is available to support language access for students and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Provide consultation and intervention recommendations to staff, families, and students
- Participate actively in IEP, eligibility, and team meetings
- Support schoolwide initiatives promoting mental health, inclusion, and student success
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation
