You’ll become a key member of a collaborative educational team, making meaningful contributions through regular completion of student evaluations. Multiple openings are available, including an Early Childhood Assessment Team position and assignments at various K-12 schools. Bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly valued, particularly for full-time roles, though candidates experienced in working with interpreters are also encouraged to apply.
To excel in this position, you should bring:
- Connecticut certification as a School Psychologist (applications from candidates with pending certification are welcome)
- Experience or comfort conducting evaluations in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Skills supporting diverse student populations, including multilingual learners
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus, especially for specified positions, but not required
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support services to develop tailored intervention strategies
- Supporting early childhood and K-12 students across multiple school sites
- Participating in eligibility meetings and developing IEP recommendations as needed
Competitive compensation is available, ranging from $100.00–$110.00 per hour, commensurate with your experience and bilingual abilities.
