Key Qualifications:

  • Connecticut School Psychologist certification required (pending CT certification considered for strong applicants)
  • Experience conducting regular psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting
  • Familiarity with MTSS/RTI and special education eligibility processes
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged; a higher rate is available to support language access for students and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Provide consultation and intervention recommendations to staff, families, and students
  • Participate actively in IEP, eligibility, and team meetings
  • Support schoolwide initiatives promoting mental health, inclusion, and student success
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation
