Your primary focus will be completing evaluations, helping to identify student needs, and collaborating with a supportive educational team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a middle or high school setting preferred
  • Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a caseload across multiple grade levels
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students, focusing primarily on assessment
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding evaluation results and interventions
  • Interpret data and collaborate on eligibility determination for special education services
  • Create detailed written reports summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide support during IEP meetings
  • Travel between two school buildings as part of the regular work day, balancing responsibilities effectively
