Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
- Active Georgia School Psychologist certification or eligibility required
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education eligibility, assessment practices, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience
Position Details
- Hybrid schedule with 3 onsite days and 2 virtual days per week
- Elementary caseload shared with another School Psychologist
- Focus on initial evaluations, assessments, and referral meetings
- Initial testing and IEP meetings must be conducted onsite
- District is seeking a thorough evaluator who can complete comprehensive assessments efficiently and accurately
- Ready to interview immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Participate in initial referral and eligibility meetings
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
