School Psychologist – Travel Position

Location: Danielsville, GA
Setting: Elementary School
Schedule: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Virtual)
School Year: 2026–2027

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
  • Active Georgia School Psychologist certification or eligibility required
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education eligibility, assessment practices, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience

Position Details

  • Travel assignment for the 2026–2027 school year
  • Hybrid schedule with 3 onsite days and 2 virtual days per week
  • Elementary caseload shared with another School Psychologist
  • Focus on initial evaluations, assessments, and referral meetings
  • Initial testing and IEP meetings must be conducted onsite
  • District is seeking a thorough evaluator who can complete comprehensive assessments efficiently and accurately
  • August through December assignment with strong potential to continue through the remainder of the school year
  • Ready to interview immediately

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Participate in initial referral and eligibility meetings
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
