Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Active and valid Alabama School Psychologist license (required)
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations for K–12 students
  • Proven ability to manage an itinerant caseload and adapt to shifting testing needs
  • Strong communication, documentation, and consultative skills
  • Willingness to work full-time, onsite, across multiple school settings as assigned

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for assessment, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing detailed reports and recommendations
  • Consult with educators and families to address students’ learning, behavioral, or mental health needs
  • Adapt to a variety of school environments as assignment locations evolve
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district policies in all aspects of service delivery
