This full-time, on-site contract position runs from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with the exciting possibility of renewal for the Extended School Year or Next School Year based on performance. You’ll play a crucial role working with K-12 students, collaborating with faculty and families to foster educational success and enhance student well-being.

Key qualifications:

• Hold an active Alabama school psychology license (images of licenses required at submission)
• Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and willingness to be itinerant across schools depending on testing needs
• Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) onsite; remote/virtual work is not available

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support individual student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for educational planning
• Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in school psychology
• Adapt to the needs of multiple school sites as determined by student referrals and assessment needs
