Key qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychometry or closely related field required
• Valid professional license as a School Psychometrist in the state of Alabama (must provide documentation)
• Previous experience conducting psychological and academic assessments with school-aged children, grades K–12
• Strong understanding of best practices in evaluation, testing, and consultation
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as an itinerant team member, traveling between schools as needed

Role responsibilities:

• Conduct, score, and interpret psycho-educational assessments for K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in eligibility meetings and provide expert recommendations to inform student services
• Travel to assigned local school sites as needed in response to testing demands
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate assessment records in compliance with district and state requirements
