Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or equivalent field
• Current, valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Michigan, or eligibility to obtain
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
• Comfortable developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of behavioral interventions, crisis response, and special education law
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative, student-focused mindset

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using a variety of formal and informal tools
• Participate in IEP meetings and help develop strategies to support individual student success
• Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents regarding effective classroom interventions
• Provide counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention for students as needed
• Maintain detailed, confidential records and progress reports
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide prevention and intervention programs
• Stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology and compliance regulations
