You’ll support a center-based program that serves a diverse student population ages 3-26 with a range of exceptionalities, including Moderate Cognitive Impairment (MoCI), Severe Cognitive Impairment (SCI), and Severe Multiple Impairments (SXI). You will partner closely with another experienced school psychologist, collectively ensuring comprehensive re-evaluations and ongoing eligibility determinations for students from across the county.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and credentials
- Previous experience working with special education populations, particularly ages 3-26
- Understanding of MoCI, SCI, and SXI eligibility criteria preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to maintain organized records and conduct thorough re-evaluations
Key responsibilities:
- Complete timely and compliant re-evaluations for students in the center-based program
- Collaborate with a fellow school psychologist to manage caseload and share expertise
- Engage as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student success and development
- Provide consultation to educators and teams regarding psychological services
