Key Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan School Psychologist Certification required
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
  • Proficient in student assessments, intervention planning, and consultative services
  • Strong communicator, both with students and colleagues
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Support school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and a positive school culture
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records consistent with legal and ethical standards
  • Manage a caseload with specific details to be determined during the interview process

Position Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week during the academic year
  • Onsite presence required to foster relationships and student engagement
  • Contract role for the 2026–2027 school year
