Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Michigan
  • Experience working with K–12 students (preferred, but all SLP backgrounds are welcome)
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Flexible approach to caseload management, willing to work onsite
  • Openness to travel assignments, with consideration for commutes

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K–12 students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to help students achieve success
  • Adapt services and strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development

Both full-time (35 hours/week, 7-hour days) and part-time options are available, provided the schedule consists of full, consistent days. Caseloads are thoughtfully assigned to reflect your expertise and minimize commute time.
