Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluations, especially at the elementary level
- Strong background in observations, assessments, and developing intervention recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, including IEP and student study teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to supporting diverse learners
Your Role Will Include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, focusing primarily on elementary populations but also supporting all grade levels as necessary
- Participating in school-based observations to gather relevant information and provide targeted intervention strategies
- Sharing responsibilities and collaborating effectively with two other school psychologists serving the district
- Engaging actively in IEP meetings and student study team discussions to support the identification and implementation of student support plans
- Advising and consulting with educators, administrators, and families to foster healthy, supportive learning environments
