Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a vibrant elementary school setting on a full-time contract basis. This is an opportunity to make an impact by supporting student success and well-being within a collaborative school community near Dearborn, MI.

In this position, your primary focus will be serving an elementary caseload, closely partnering with educational staff and families. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough student evaluations and re-evaluations, and you’ll contribute your insights as an active participant in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings. When the need arises, your role in crisis intervention will help navigate students and staff through challenging situations with compassion and professionalism.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan School Psychologist Certification (required)
  • Experience providing evaluations and re-evaluations in a school setting
  • Understanding of elementary student developmental needs
  • Collaborative approach, especially in multidisciplinary team environments
  • Familiarity with MTSS processes and interventions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and re-assessments for elementary students
  • Attend and actively contribute to MTSS meetings focused on developing student support strategies
  • Assist with crisis intervention and planning as needed
  • Consult with educators and families to recommend appropriate interventions

This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $55, depending on experience and qualifications. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare coverage, along with housing and meals or incidental stipends.
