Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students as a full-time, in-person School Psychologist. You’ll enjoy consistent hours at 37.5 per week, working on-site with a manageable, dynamic K-12 caseload. Your expertise will be key in evaluating student needs, developing intervention strategies, and serving as a vital resource in the school community. You’ll also collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to help each student access the services and support required for their success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current credentials or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and intervention planning skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced educational setting
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to students' unique needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and review processes
- Provide individual and group counseling as appropriate
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and needs
- Remain current on best practices and legal requirements in school psychology
