Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification in Michigan and relevant graduate degree
  • Strong background in administering, scoring, and interpreting a range of psychological and educational assessments
  • Experience conducting initial and reevaluations for special education
  • Knowledge of and participation in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements under state and federal education regulations

Lead Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations for students in need
  • Engage actively in special education eligibility discussions and present findings
  • Attend and contribute to IEP and assessment meetings, maintaining clear communication to support student planning
  • Consult with teaching staff and parents, offering strategies and insights to support student academic and behavioral needs
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, ensuring legal and procedural compliance
  • Share caseload responsibilities as part of a supportive network of school psychologists, serving a variety of grade levels
