Certified School Psychologist in Dearborn, MI

This contract, part-time opportunity allows you to work 2-3 days each week alongside a collaborative team that values your expertise and commitment.

You’ll work with a diverse caseload, spanning PreK through 12th grade, and play a vital role in ensuring students have the tools and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers the chance to make significant contributions through targeted assessments, individualized behavioral interventions, and proactive mental health services.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required
• Background in school psychology or a related educational setting
• Knowledge of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process and best practices
• Comfortable conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations
• Experience providing behavioral support and counseling to students
• Strong skills in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of PreK-12 students, evaluating and addressing their academic and behavioral needs
• Conduct psychological assessments and provide clear, actionable recommendations
• Offer behavioral consultations and support to students and instructional staff
• Deliver mental health counseling on an as-needed basis
• Participate actively in the MTSS team, supporting student interventions and data-driven decision-making
• Work collaboratively with educators and families to promote student well-being and academic achievement
