Make a meaningful impact supporting students and collaborate with educators as a school psychologist working on a hybrid schedule. This rewarding contract opportunity for the full 2026–2027 school year provides a balanced approach, with two days each week to serve students remotely and three days onsite at a welcoming school community near Decatur, IN.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, counseling, and consultation
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Comfort with digital assessment tools and remote service delivery
  • Dedication to equity, inclusion, and student-centered practices

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct academic, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies for students individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop effective support plans
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and consult on best practices for positive student behavior
  • Maintain required records and document services in compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Split weekly schedule between onsite and remote work, ensuring timely, responsive support to students and staff
