This full-time position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, maintaining consistent daytime hours from 7:30AM to 3:00PM.
Essential qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois
- Previous experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, parents, and caregivers
- Must be available to work onsite throughout the assignment
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Collaborating with faculty and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supporting high school students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being
- Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and providing recommendations
- Delivering group and individual counseling sessions as needed
- Assisting in implementing school-wide programs to promote positive behavior and safe learning environments
- Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation
