Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
  • Thorough understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and Section 504 accommodations
  • Strong evaluation, assessment, and intervention skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with teachers, administrators, caregivers, and students
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Collaborate in the development, implementation, and review of IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges
  • Participate in crisis response, behavioral interventions, and positive behavior support initiatives
  • Facilitate group and individual counseling as needed
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success and wellbeing
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports
