Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and interventions
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students as part of the special education process
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
  • Collaborate and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
  • Support data-driven decision-making through progress monitoring and outcome analysis
  • Participate in problem-solving teams and provide staff training related to mental health and classroom supports
  • Promote positive school climate through social-emotional learning initiatives
