Essential Qualifications:
- Active Maryland School Psychologist license required
- Proven experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, executive function, and cognitive assessments
- Expertise in eligibility determinations, consultation, and development of 504 plans
- Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and their practical implementation
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and support IEP teams, contributing your knowledge throughout assessment and planning
- Conduct behavioral interventions, executive function coaching, and cognitive testing
- Consult with educators and families regarding eligibility, 504 plans, and appropriate support strategies
- Play an active role in MTSS processes, helping identify and address student needs through data-driven approaches
- Split your time between two elementary school sites, ensuring comprehensive support
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold school and ethical standards
