Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland School Psychologist license required
  • Proven experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, executive function, and cognitive assessments
  • Expertise in eligibility determinations, consultation, and development of 504 plans
  • Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and their practical implementation
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support IEP teams, contributing your knowledge throughout assessment and planning
  • Conduct behavioral interventions, executive function coaching, and cognitive testing
  • Consult with educators and families regarding eligibility, 504 plans, and appropriate support strategies
  • Play an active role in MTSS processes, helping identify and address student needs through data-driven approaches
  • Split your time between two elementary school sites, ensuring comprehensive support
  • Maintain thorough documentation and uphold school and ethical standards
