This contract opportunity places you onsite across a diverse PreK–12 caseload, where you’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster healthy, supportive learning communities. As a licensed School Psychologist, you’ll deliver vital services such as psychoeducational evaluations, parent conferences, ongoing mental health support, and training for staff—all within a collaborative and inclusive setting.
What You Bring:
- North Carolina DPI School Psychologist License (active and current)
- Expertise in using ECATS for evaluations, reporting, and compliance
- Experience consulting with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proven capability with counseling, crisis response, and parent communications
- Ability to work effectively onsite and flexibly across various district campuses
- Previous experience with PreK–12 populations in a school-based setting recommended
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students suspected of having disabilities
- Participate actively on district-level multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Facilitate parent conferences and collaborate with caregivers to support student success
- Provide staff training on relevant educational and behavioral topics
- Address student mental health needs within the school community
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by leadership
