School Psychologist in Denton, NC

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ growth and well-being in a dynamic school environment! This contract opportunity places you onsite across a diverse PreK–12 caseload, where you’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster healthy, supportive learning communities. As a licensed School Psychologist, you’ll deliver vital services such as psychoeducational evaluations, parent conferences, ongoing mental health support, and training for staff—all within a collaborative and inclusive setting.

What You Bring:

• North Carolina DPI School Psychologist License (active and current)
• Expertise in using ECATS for evaluations, reporting, and compliance
• Experience consulting with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proven capability with counseling, crisis response, and parent communications
• Ability to work effectively onsite and flexibly across various district campuses
• Previous experience with PreK–12 populations in a school-based setting recommended

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students suspected of having disabilities
• Participate actively on district-level multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Facilitate parent conferences and collaborate with caregivers to support student success
• Provide staff training on relevant educational and behavioral topics
• Address student mental health needs within the school community
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by leadership
