Your expertise will contribute to student success and school-wide initiatives, focusing exclusively on evaluations and ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings—no counseling responsibilities required.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid and current license or certification as a School Psychologist in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
  • Previous experience in educational assessment and providing recommendations
  • Strong understanding of special education procedures, particularly ARD meetings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage assessment caseloads and timelines efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations in accordance with school and state protocols
  • Participate as an active member of ARD meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on assessments
  • Collaborate with special education staff and administrators to develop strategies to support student achievement
  • Clearly communicate evaluation findings to educators and families
  • Maintain organized and confidential assessment records and documentation
