Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), or an Associate School Psychologist credential.
  • School Psychologist license issued by the board of examiners of psychologists is required.
  • Prior experience in school psychology and familiarity with a district environment preferred.
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration with staff and families.
  • Must be ready to complete onboarding processes, including fingerprinting and registry list searches.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions.
  • Develop individualized education program (IEP) recommendations through collaboration with educational teams.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on student needs and strategies for success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records in compliance with regulations.
