Make a meaningful impact in the Denver area supporting students’ academic and emotional growth. We are seeking experienced school psychologists who are passionate about providing comprehensive mental health services in educational settings for the 2026-2027 school year (July 31, 2026 – May 26, 2027). Assignments are full-time (35 hours/week, Monday to Friday) with locations and age groups ranging from early childhood through high school—placements determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
  • Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Minimum of 3 years’ prior school-based experience (required)
  • Strong skills in student assessment, crisis intervention, and IEP/504 processes
  • Effective communicator—oral and written—with strong interpersonal, consultative, and collaborative abilities
  • Calm under pressure, and flexible in adapting to dynamic school environments
  • Technologically adept; able to efficiently manage documentation and reporting
  • Valuing diversity and committed to equitable, responsive services for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve special education students with direct counseling and group interventions aligned to IEP goals
  • Deliver mental health supports in general education classrooms
  • Conduct suicide and threat risk assessments; participate in safety planning and crisis response
  • Complete evaluations (cognitive, social/emotional, behavioral, adaptive), data collection, and FBA/BIP development
  • Collaborate on IEP teams, MTSS, special education planning, and behavioral health committees
  • Engage in family, community, and staff consultations—connecting students with needed community resources
  • Provide mental health interventions and consultation for both general and special education students
