School Psychologist in Denver, CO

Start making a difference in the lives of students across the Denver area through a rewarding full-time school-based psychology contract role. This onsite opportunity places you at the forefront of supporting K-12 learners—ranging from early childhood to high school—across two assigned schools each week. Assignments are determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver direct services, crisis intervention, and comprehensive assessments, while working collaboratively with families, educators, and community partners. Your work will have a meaningful impact on the academic, emotional, and social well-being of students.

What You Bring:

• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
• Valid CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a school setting is required
• Proficient student assessment, evaluation, and IEP writing skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative team skills
• Readiness to remain calm and focused in crisis situations
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations
• Strong computer and technology proficiency
• Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling based on IEP mental health goals
• Develop multi-level interventions addressing academic, behavioral, and social/emotional needs
• Complete cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive assessments, and write evaluation reports
• Lead and support crisis management activities, including suicide and threat assessments
• Participate actively in IEP, MTSS, and behavioral health meetings
• Consult with families, staff, and external service providers
• Deliver staff development and facilitate psychoeducation for staff, students, and families

This role spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
