Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field required
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting educational, behavioral, and psychological assessments in school environments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs, eligibility for special education, and appropriate interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and behavioral wellbeing
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor educational plans
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and other data-driven decision-making processes
- Support crisis intervention, behavioral management, and preventative mental health initiatives within the school community
- Maintain accurate records and detailed documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
