Key Qualifications:

• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider License in School Psychology
• Previous school-based psychology experience required
• Strong student assessment, crisis management, and collaborative teaming skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with computer technology
• Must complete district background check and fingerprinting

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct mental health services and counseling to special education students, in groups and individually
• Develop and implement interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Assess cognitive, emotional, and adaptive functioning; conduct school observations and evaluations as part of IEP processes
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and external agencies to support student adjustment and well-being
• Lead and participate in crisis management, including suicide risk assessments and threat assessments
• Attend and actively contribute to IEP, multidisciplinary, and behavioral health team meetings, as well as professional development sessions
• Provide psychoeducation, academic and behavioral consultation, and connect families to community resources
