Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree, Specialist’s Degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Active CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
  • Prior experience working in school settings required
  • Exceptional student assessment abilities and contemporary practice awareness
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration and interpersonal strengths with diverse communities
  • Calm, solution-focused demeanor—especially during crisis situations
  • Strong organizational and computer technology skills
  • Willingness to complete background check and district fingerprinting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Delivering group and individual counseling aligned with IEP mental health goals
  • Developing interventions targeting academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Conducting assessments—cognitive, social, adaptive—and writing comprehensive reports
  • Assisting with crisis management, including risk/threat assessments and safety planning
  • Collaborating with caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participating in meetings such as IEP planning and professional development sessions
  • Consulting, providing psychoeducation, and coordinating community resources for students and families
