You will collaborate closely with educators and families, addressing the mental health needs outlined in students’ IEPs and supporting a diverse caseload that may include mild to moderate, affective, and significant support needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado DOE Special Service License with School Psychologist endorsement (ages 0–21)
• Experience in special education (SPED) settings strongly preferred
• Strong background supporting high school students or early childhood populations (for Child Find roles)
• Bilingual proficiency welcomed, especially for district-level evaluation teams
• Familiarity with conducting evaluations, creating support plans, and providing direct mental health services
• Ability to work fully onsite; no remote or hybrid arrangements

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the assigned psychologist for one school OR as an evaluation team psychologist at North Star Elementary or at various district evaluation sites
• Provide comprehensive mental health services to students on IEPs, facilitating interventions and strategies as needed
• Conduct thorough Child Find and/or bilingual evaluations to support student identification and success
• Collaborate with special education case managers, teachers, and families to develop and implement support plans
• Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district requirements
• Complete necessary district contractor credentialing before beginning the assignment
