Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification to practice in educational settings
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Consult and train school staff on mental health awareness, classroom strategies, and best practices
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions or support plans as needed
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation in compliance with local and state guidelines
