Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Certification to practice in educational settings
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
  • Consult and train school staff on mental health awareness, classroom strategies, and best practices
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions or support plans as needed
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation in compliance with local and state guidelines
